Good morning!

Thanks to everyone who has submitted names. We have a small (9) but 
quite impressive roster of excellent speakers. I would like to decide 
on the fall speaker ASAP because time is running short. I already 
tentatively reserved November 9th for the date and I hope that it will 
work.

I suggest that we all take a good look at the list and that we rank the 
speakers from 1-9 ahead our meeting. That way, when we meet, everyone 
could adjust their votes according to the discussions we have. The two 
speakers receiving the highest ranking will be invited. We will go down 
the list until the two spots are filled. I know that only 2 speakers 
will be chosen and that most of us will not see our preferred speaker 
being invited. But that's we did last time and it turned very well.

How about we meet this friday at the Bread company, at 7:00pm for a 
little food and drinks and a "furious debate"? Let me know the time 
isn't right for you. I would like to do this this week though (earlier 
could work as well).
