Hi All,

We are again looking for 3-4 postdocs to join our invited speakers at the Courier Café in Urbana for breakfast next Tuesday. Please consider joining us. The seminar speaker is Heather Read, a Professor & Director Brain-Computer Interface Group in the Departments of Psychological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering University of Connecticut. Her talk titled "A cortical hierarchy and power-law principle for decision-making and discrimination of timing cues found in natural sounds" will describe how they are building Bayesian computational models that successfully use statistical correlations of timing cues in natural sounds to accurately predict perceptual behavioral decision-making.
