[Neuropostdocs] Teaching position at Illinois State University

Dear colleague,
I am contacting you to ask if you could send out the attached job ad to interested postdocs, recently graduated PhD students, or academics who are looking for bridge funding. I am a professor for Neurophysiology at Illinois State University, and we are looking for a temporary replacement for me for the 2021 school year, while I am gone to spend a year abroad on a fellowship.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a faculty position in the near future but wants to acquire teaching experience, or whose position has ended and they need a temporary bridge position, or someone who simply wants to try out life as a faculty.
The position comes with teaching requirements (one course: animal physiology), but also with the opportunity to mentor graduate students in the lab and "run" a lab in general. The person can also do research in my lab space, whether that is their own, or in collaboration with me or other faculty members in the Neuroscience and Physiology group here at Illinois State. A colleague of mine, Dr. Paul Garris, will act as a faculty mentor to support the new colleague in all their tasks.
