_Specialization_ — As part of a multi-year initiative to enhance existing strengths and interests in neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder, the Department of Integrative Physiology and the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience invite applications for an open rank search (assistant, associate, full professor) faculty position to be rostered in both departments. The ideal candidate will have an active research program that implements transformative neuroscience and biomedical research approaches to explore the functioning of nervous system in health and disease in humans and/or animal models.

_Start Date_ — August 17, 2016

_Qualifications_ — Applicants should demonstrate an outstanding record of research achievement and research funding success appropriate to level of seniority. Candidates are expected to exhibit a history of successful collaborative, interdisciplinary research and have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. A PhD in neuroscience, physiology or a related science field is required.

_General Information_ — The Department of Integrative Physiology rosters 23 tenured/tenure-eligible faculty along with 9 instructors and offers a BA, MS, and PhD degree in integrative physiology. The undergraduate and graduate programs comprise 1800 and 70, respectively. The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience rosters 44 tenured/tenure-eligible faculty along with 10 instructors and offers a BA degree in psychology and neuroscience and a PhD degree in six program areas: behavioral genetics, behavioral neuroscience, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology/cognitive neuroscience, and social psychology. The undergraduate and graduate programs comprise 2500 and 90, respectively.
