Open House went very well, with many compliments received from our guest 
prospective students.  Thanks to Sam Beshers who organized the whole 
weekend; John House, Diana Thomas, Maritza Alvarado and Justin Cobb for 
poster session, housing, party and all-around help; our Admission Committee 
Mark Nelson (Chair), Julie George, Tzumin Lee, Ed Roy, Shelly Tischkau, and 
Nyla Ismail for bringing in a great bunch of prospective students; Sue 
Schantz, who gave a great talk; and all of you who participated in various 
ways.

And congratulations to Graham Heusmann, winner of the first Prosser Award 
in Neuroscience!

Now let's see how many of the great prospective students we can bring to 
campus!
