[Neuropostdocs] computational neuroscience seminar

A message from Tom Anastasio:

The first meeting of a seminar course called Artificial Neural Networks
and Computational Brain Theory (ANNCBT) will take place today (Thursday
8/29) from 4-5pm in Beckman Institute conference room 4269 (fourth floor
tower room).  The course is intended for students, post-docs, and even
faculty from any department or program with an interest in how the brain
computes.  Each week we either discuss a paper from the literature or we
hear a presentation by a participant on their own work.  Students can
audit the course or take it for credit (1/4 credit for participation only,
1/2 credit for participation and presentation).  The couse is listed as
CS491 (section SRR) and crosslisted as NEURO491 and PHYSL491.  Grading is
pass/fail.

The first meeting of ANNCBT is this afternoon, 4pm in BI 4269.  All
interetsed are invited to attend.  For further information please see the
