Integrative Insect Biology Assistant or Associate Professor. The close

The School of Integrative Biology and the Department of Entomology at
the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign invite applications for a
full-time, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position in integrative
insect biologist at the rank of *Assistant or Associate Professor*. The
position starts as early as August 2012. We seek a broadly trained
biologist working on insects who will develop an internationally
recognized, externally funded research program that integrates
evolutionary approaches into any aspect of insect biology, including but
not limited to chemical ecology, developmental genetics, plant-insect
interactions, physiology, neuroscience, and behavior. Applicants should
be familiar with a diversity of modern techniques, including molecular
and genomic methods. The successful candidate will have the opportunity
to be part of dynamic and well-established communities of integrative
biologists with interests spanning a wide range of taxa in the School of
Integrative Biology, as well as in a number of interdisciplinary
programs across the campus. Participation in both undergraduate and
graduate education is required. A Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline
is required by start date, and postdoctoral experience is
desirable. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
