Subject: Postdoc Breakfast with the NSP speaker

Hi All,

We are again looking for 3-4 postdocs to join our invited speakers at the Courier Café in Urbana for breakfast next Tuesday. Please consider joining us. The seminar speaker is Mark Brandon, Canada Research Chair in the Neural Circuits of Memory, Associate Professor, Douglas Hospital Research Centre, Department of Psychiatry, McGill University. His talk titled "Population dynamics of the head direction cell network," will describe his research which uses population recordings and freely-behaving mice to reveal the fundamental circuit and network mechanisms that support navigation and memory, suggesting the head direction network must be inhibited to reorient itself in space.

If you are interested in joining us at Courier Cafe on Tuesday, 4/25 @ 8 am, please let me know!
