[Neuropostdocs] Invitation to Speak at the Big 10 Neuroscience Seminar Series

Hi all,

I am sending this email out again to all of you because no students or postdocs have yet volunteered to present at the Big 10 seminar series. Below is a message from one of the organizers. You can see that they are interested in hearing more about your research and it seems like a great way to connect with others in the Big 10. Please let me know if you are interested! It sounds like it would be a great opportunity! The dates are: September 16, October 21, November 18, December 16, January 20, February 17, March 17, April 21, and May 19.

"Last academic year Iowa sent out a survey for feedback on the series.  The consensus was for the seminars to continue its focus on research by trainees and junior faculty from underrepresented groups within Neuroscience with an opportunity for networking after the presentations.  For example, we plan on having a postdoc and a graduate student present and include some sort of networking session or panel discussion with junior faculty immediately following."
