[Neuropostdocs] NSP Breakfast Tomorrow 3/26: Annette de Kloet

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the late email, life has been hectic. Tomorrow our speaker is
Annette de Kloet from the University of Florida. Her talk is entitled:
“Illumination of Brain Angiotensin Receptor Circuits Reveals an Access
Point for Neuroendocrine and Autonomic Control”.

Dr. de Kloet studies obesity and co-morbid conditions such as hypertension
and diabetes. This includes looking at the impact of diet on neural
circuits, the role of particular peptides in neuroendocrine regulation, and
mechanisms underlying energy balance and blood pressure regulation. Her
techniques include molecular, genetic, physiological, and behavioral
techniques.
