Greetings from warm and sunny (well, ok, not today) Athens, Georgia! I see from the web site that you are still manning the helm for the Neuroscience Program.  Lucky them! I hope all is well - and I'd love to hear how things are going.


I'm writing in case you know of a current post-doc who might have an interest in a teaching position.  My colleagues at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta are currently recruiting in neuroscience and neuroanatomy.  I've attached the announcement.


The medical school program in Athens is to Augusta as COM-Urbana is to Chicago.  We are a separate four-year campus, but still part of MCG and accredited as one medical school.  Augusta is our 'mother ship' and I hold an appointment in the Department of Cellular Biology and Anatomy in Augusta, so I do know some of those folks fairly well.  The ones I know are a good group and I like the chair. The Medical College of Georgia is now a college under Georgia Regents University, a recent development.  The anatomy and neuroanatomy teaching facilities have recently been updated and are pretty much state-of-the-art.


If you know of anyone who might consider a teaching position, this would be well worth a look.
