This is a wonderful house just outside the WUNA radius.  The dog is a plus!

We're renting our 5 bedroom house in Urbana from August 2013 to July
2014. The house was built by U. of I. architect John Replinger and
has been featured in modern architecture publications. It's a
modernist house, all on one floor, with an open-air central
courtyard, lots of light, wood floors, an open floor plan, a large
well-equipped kitchen with an island, 2 full bathrooms, several
skylights, a trampoline, a treehouse - and a 70 lb. dog. There is no
basement but a very large (approx. 70 ft by 15 ft.) "upstairs
basement" that is a perfect playroom for children. The house also has
two studies opening onto the courtyard, which are perfect for
academics and graduate students.

We need to find someone who will take good care of our lovable and
friendly 3 yr. old golden retriever mix, Samson, while we're away on
leave. The house is on a bus route to the campus of the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and close to two large parks. It is 5
minutes by car and 15 minutes by bicycle to campus. The rent is
negotiable based on your willingness to take care of the dog.
(Walking him in the nearby parks is a perfect antidote to the stress
of everyday life!).
