This week’s NSP seminar tomorrow, March 12, 2013, will feature Dr. Brad
Aimone of Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr.
Aimone will be speaking on “Adult Hippocampal Neurogenesis: Memory
Resolution, Pattern Separation, or both?”.****

Dr. Aimone received his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of
California in San Diego and was a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory
of Fred Gage at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, CA.
His research focuses on the development and utilization of computational
tools to understand the plasticity of neural networks in the adult brain.
You will find a summary of his postdoctoral and graduate research, of which

Dr. Aimone is hosted by Neal Cohen, and his seminar is co-sponsored by the
Center for Nutrition, Learning, and Memory and the Division of Nutritional
Science. A reception will directly follow the seminar in the Beckman
Institute Atrium from 5-8PM. I hope you will be able to attend his seminar.
