SafeWalks and SafeRides are two resources available to the campus community. SafeWalks<http://www.dps.illinois.edu/universitypolice/SafeWalks.html> provides walking escorts in the campus area starting at 7 p.m. MTD SafeRides<http://www.cumtd.com/riding/saferides> provides transportation for people traveling alone in the expanded campus area. Additionally, starting November 7, University permit lots<http://parking.illinois.edu/> are available for no-permit parking starting at 4 p.m. The enforcement times for meters on streets and 24-hour reserved spaces are unchanged.
