[Neuropostdocs] Neuro Outreach Opportunity

I hope you all have had a pleasant winter break sans students.  I wanted to
let you all know we have the opportunity to work with K-5 graders in the
Boys and Girls Club of Champaign.  A conglomerate of Project Neuron members,
graduate students and undergraduate students are organizing a science fair
for the kids on January 28th from 3:30- 5:30 pm with the hope that this will
become an every other month event.  There is going to be an organizational
meeting January 21st at 5:30 pm at the Project Neuron office in the Colonel
Wolfe School and if you are interested please come.  If you cannot make it
to the meeting please let me know as the Boys and Girls Club needs to do
background checks before you can interact with the students and we will need
to coordinate that before the science fair.  This first science fair will
incorporate many of the activities that Project Neuron has been using in the
classroom but there will be plenty of opportunities for you to contribute
ideas for science fairs in the future.
