Next week's speaker is Dr. Donna Fekete, from Purdue University. She is 
hosted by Richard Kollmar. The title of her talk is: Neuron-sensory 
lineage relationships in the vertebrate inner ear.

There will be a breakfast WEDNESDAY, october 26th from 8:00-9:00 am at 
Courier Café in Urbana.

Dr. Donna Fekete is a
Professor of Biology at Purdue University and a leader in the field of
developmental biology of the inner ear.  Her work combines classical
embryological and modern molecular methods and employs a range of model
animals, from zebrafish over frogs to the chicken.  Her particular
focus has been on questions of cell-fate specification during the
morphogenesis of the complex labyrinth.
