The NSP Retreat was great! Attendance by students, postdocs, and faculty
was better than ever; the weather held; the food delicious; the softball
spirited; the games fun; and the talks by Essie Meisami and Paul Gold were
insightful, warm, and far-ranging (from the Shah and his influence on the
course of neuroscience to the age-old question of whether dead rats tell
lies). Thanks on behalf of the entire program to Nyla Ismail, BBC
President, Diana Thomas and Maritza Alvarado and all the students who
worked hard to make the retreat such a success.
